Phytolipid Comfort Creme by Renée Rouleau is a moisturizing skin repair cream to make skin less dry and sensitive over time by repairing the skin's natural defense barrier using advanced moisturizing lipids and calming plant extracts. This luxurious age-defying formula addresses all dryness, flaking and redness issues including inflammation from retinol or retinoid-use, over-exfoliation, laser treatments, chemical peels, Accutane, eczema, rosacea, sunburn, windburn, free radicals and general irritation. Okay, so I’ll be honest. I’ve had a tough skincare journey. I went from being oily and breakout prone to experiencing severe dryness and eczema upon turning 30.
Every time I get my period I notice a huge shift in my skin. I become extremely dehydrated, red, flaky, sensitive around my mouth and even my nose— and area that has always been oily.
This product is thick— but you need to go in knowing that. This is clearly made for people who have had no luck with other moisturizers that make claims to repair the skin barrier. This is the first I’ve actually felt a difference from. It goes on feeling a little heavy, but it does get absorbed if your skin type matches what this product is set to deliver.
Even though I am breakout prone, I’ve had zero issues.
10/10 on this one. This product needs more attention, I’m in love.

I really love this moisturizer. I have rosacea and recently had a rash unrelated to the rosacea that left my skin irritated. Unfortunately nothing prescribed was working. I knew I still had to moisturize but I wanted to make sure to choose something that wasn’t going to irritate my skin even more. This stuff has been perfect. The rash finally started to go away on its own and in the meantime this moisturizer has been so soothing while my skin recovers. My skin feels soft and supple and looks great too.
