What Is My Skin Type?
At Renée Rouleau, we’ve never believed in a one size fits all approach. Renée developed her signature '9 skin types' early on in her career to help you answer the question: "What is my true skin type?"
"Skin care products back then—and still to this day for many companies—catered to the standard dry, normal and oily skin types. When you work hands-on with skin, you quickly learn that there are many different skin types. Each one is unique and requires a routine that caters to its specific needs." —Renée
While most skin care collections are designed to address a single concern (think acne-prone or very dry skin), our products cater to a variety of needs all at once. Concerned with both acne and aging? How about acne and sensitive skin? Dryness and sun damage? We’ve got you covered!
When determining your skin type, it’s important to look at the big picture and take into account ALL of your skin’s needs, not just the one or two that bother you most. Understanding your true skin type is the key to healthy, glowing skin, but how do you know what your skin type is? Find out below.

The 9 Different Skin Types
Skin Type 1
Oily / Clogged Pores / Severe Breakouts All-Over
